Read MoreWednesday, I shared some of Tori and Scott's beautiful pink and white wedding. Today, I'm sharing their portraits. Tori wanted to be sure we had plenty of time for all of the family photos and extra time for her and Scott's portraits, so we added an extra thirty minutes to her timeline giving them a full hour for bride/groom portraits - I love it whenever a bride and groom decide to do this. I promise that you won't regret spending an extra half an hour in front of the camera on your wedding day! Here are a few of my favorites: ...

When you hire a photographer to document your wedding, you're entrusting that person to capture the emotion of the day, the important moments and all of the details and candor in between. Hiring the right person means that you'll blessed with amazing images that will allow you to relive the emotions and the beauty of your wedding. But what comes after the wedding? Read MoreMonica and Ryan were married on May 21st at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew in Little Rock. The ceremony was held in the main sanctuary and the wedding reception followed in McDonald Hall. Monica and Ryan both work in forensics for the State crime lab, so it seemed fitting that their wedding colors were shades of blue. Surrounded by family and friends, many of whom drove all the way from West Virginia and Florida, Monica and Ryan exchanged vows and then danced the night away to tune's from the fab Joe Snell of Central Arkansas Entertainment. The Little Black Dress Brigade did an amazing job with the florals and Along for the Bride did a great job a coordinating the day and putting together a seamless event! Here are a few of my favorite images from the day! ...

Nancy, her bridesmaids and her Mother all got ready at Nancy's parents house, which was only a few steps from the church, which is absolutely perfect for weddings because it has gorgeous grounds and awesome interior lighting . The girls and guys all gathered at the church before the ceremony for the final touches to their bridal outfits and to say a few prayers. After they said their 'I do's' the congregation and wedding party celebrated at the Crowne Plaza in West Little Rock. Here are some of my favorite images from the day: All of the ladies had beautiful make-up and awesome hair! I love 'getting ready' shots in black and white. I think they more fully capture the moment and allow you to really feel the emotion in the room. I thought I'd do something a little different with the cake shot in this post. It was so delicious that I had so share the 'after!' I leave you with two of my favorite shots of the day...
