Christine and Brian are getting married in December, and I'm very excited about being part of their wedding and documenting the day. Since Spring has sprung and it feels like Summer is just around the corner, I thought I'd put together a little bit of inspiration for portrait season! I recommend keeping it simple and timeless, but add in some fun elements to punch up your look a notch. For the ladies, adding a pop of color, some fun shoes, and some accessories that coordinate with your look really help pull everything together. For the guys, keep it really simple - coordinate his look with yours and opt for solid tops and khakis, or a blazer over a fitted t-shirt with jeans or slacks. Jordan and I had been emailing back and forth quite a bit trying to find the perfect time and the perfect location for her engagement portraits. We nailed it. We had the date, the time and were on the hunt for the perfect field. As the day of the shoot approached so did massive amounts of rain and cloud-covered skies. Our hopes of sunset images in overgrown grass were dashed, but the skies parted long enough for us to capture some awesome images on Old Main lawn and on the Fayetteville Square.
