I had the pleasure of photographing the Sewell family last week in Fayetteville. The session included their four furry babies, lots of Christmas cheer and beautiful Fall weather. There were many reasons that made this session fun and a lot of connections that made the afternoon full of gab and laughter. Jill and I met years ago while working at my parents' store, Melody's Choices, her daughter Kaitlyn and I are members of the same sorority and I'm photographing Kaitlyn's best friend's sister's wedding. I love how small the world can feel sometimes!
Here are a few of my favorite photos from their session:
Brooke and I have known eachother since college, and I was excited when she contacted me about shooting some Holiday portraits. Brooke, her husband Dayne and their sweet Irish Setter, Finn, and I met on Old Main lawn for some wonderful warm, autumn photos. Here are a few of my favorites:
Meet Sam and his Mom, Christine. Sam has a super cute, super spunky personality and was a lot of fun to photograph. We got together at the Historic Arkansas Museum in downtown Little Rock and had a great time playing, exploring and watching Trolleys roll by. Here are some of my favorite shots from our session:
Pamela and I have known eachother since college. We were sorority sisters and shared many Political Science classes together during our four years together in Fayetteville. She and her husband, Jim, live in Little Rock now and have the cutest and spunkiest little daschund, Charlie. I love photographing friends and what makes taking their portraits even better is when they love their photos. Pamela emailed me last night saying "we love these photos. LOVE." Those words always bring a smile to my face and make me so happy that my clients enjoy my work as much as I do!
Here are a few of my favorite images from Pamela and Jim's Holiday mini session:
Today's post has a dual purpose. First, I want to share with all of you the portrait session of one of my favorite friends and her lovely parents. Second, I want to share a few of the holiday card designs I have for 2010!
I love Fall for many reasons, but one of my favorite things about this season is the weather and having the opportunity to take lots of portraits. I think everyone should have the chance to have their portrait taken, and what better time to do it than before the Holiday season begins? Planning ahead and scheduling your portrait session in the early Fall means that you have great photos to send out with your Season's greetings, or better yet - use your photos to have a custom-designed card created for you.
Here are a few of my favorite images from my session with the Mitchell family and some beautiful card designs I'm offering this season:
