, Meet Meredith
It's the tenth day of the new year and it has been an unbelievably beautiful day. Yesterday evening around 3 o'clock it began to flurry, and it snowed until the wee hours of the morning. Andrew and I put Emma-Kate to bed and snuck out of the house for a few minutes to soak up how beautiful our neighborhood looked blanketed in snow. Nothing makes me happier than a good snowfall, so I was grinning from ear to ear while we walked up and down our street. There were no cars, no people, no dogs - nothing but glittering flakes falling magically from the glowing sky. Here are a few shots I took from last night and this morning during one of our romps in the snow. The first image is of our view of the neighbor's house from our bedroom - I LOVE big, picture windows!
2010 has been a fantastic year. Thus far, this has been the craziest and most fun year as a photographer. Transitioning from part-time to full-time and having a little one at home has been rewarding, challenging and certainly enjoyable. I'm grateful for all of my wonderful clients and very supportive friends and family - Without all of you I wouldn't be able to do what I love for a living. Thank you to all of my clients for inviting me into your lives and sharing some of your most precious moments and growing families with me. 2011 is sure to bring amazing new people into my life and I can't wait to see how it unfolds. As a wrap up to a great year, here are a handful of my favorite images from 2010:
There were SO many fantastic images from Jamie & Michael's session that I couldn't decide on just one image for this post! You can see their blog post here.
I certainly couldn't leave Emma-Kate out of this post, so here are a few of my favorite shots of my sweet daughter from this year:
Pamela and I have known eachother since college. We were sorority sisters and shared many Political Science classes together during our four years together in Fayetteville. She and her husband, Jim, live in Little Rock now and have the cutest and spunkiest little daschund, Charlie. I love photographing friends and what makes taking their portraits even better is when they love their photos. Pamela emailed me last night saying "we love these photos. LOVE." Those words always bring a smile to my face and make me so happy that my clients enjoy my work as much as I do!
Here are a few of my favorite images from Pamela and Jim's Holiday mini session:
