The light of my life turned two this week. She is the most special person I've ever known and the love that I feel for her is inexplicable. Everyday with her is a gift and I'm so thankful to be her Mom. At two, some of her favorite things to do are singing B-I-N-G-O, painting and drawing, playing with her toy animal collection and playing chase around the house. Her cutest sayings right now are "Oh no!" "Play with me?" "Watch a show a minute?" "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14...
Last Christmas, I had the pleasure of shooting Sam and his Mom Christy. This Easter I was very happy to shoot the pair again, but this time their family joined in! Four kids and four adults certainly made for an fun mini-session, and I think we captured some wonderful memories for this family. Thanks so much to all of the Cryers for inviting me into your home and letting me be part of the family for a short while.

Meet the Martin Family. Cami contacted me a few weeks ago about shooting some portraits of her boys, Alec and Jacob, and I was so glad she did! In the past they've had super-traditional in-studio portraits taken and this year she decided she wanted something fun, fresh and relaxed. That's exactly what she got! We met at a field in West Little Rock and took full advantage of the beautiful sun, fall foliage and wide open spaces. Here are a few of my favorite shots from our session:

Happy Halloween! This past weekend we had a blast celebrating the spookiest of holidays with Emma-Kate and family. Our sweet girl dressed up as a pink poodle and Andrew and I dressed as a 50's sock-hop couple - poodle skirt and all! Em was on the move, so excited to see all of the costumes and was eager to keep up with the other kids, but I did manage to snap a few photos of her before the night was over. We celebrated Emma-Kate's first birthday this weekend. What a wonderful day we had celebrating with family and friends! Emma-Kate's birthday theme was cupcakes, and I had a blast planning and putting together all of the details. Our good friend Jason was kind enough to take photos during the party so that I could focus on the birthday girl, one of my wonderful friends made the beautiful and delicious cupcakes and cupcake-cake, and my awesome family helped me get everything set-up for the festivities.
