Searcy Wedding Photographer – Christine and Brian are Married!

Christine and Brian were married at the First United Methodist Church in Searcy. I loved documenting this couple's love story. Christine and Brian are relaxed, down to earth and fun, and they compliment eachother perfectly. The day of their wedding was beautiful, and chilly. Snow still covered much of the ground and the sky was crystal clear. Christine was calm and collected. Brian was a tad nervous. When they saw eachother for the first time, Brian's face lit up and you could see the nerves melt away. The details were elegant, the guests were teary-eyed and the reception was full of hugs, laughter and dancing. Here are a few of my favorite details, moments and portraits from Christine and Brian's wedding day: I love the feeling black and white gives getting ready images. Something about black and white gives the images a personal and intimate feel to them. Christine and Brian decided to have a first look. I love first looks. Its a super special moment the couple gets to share before the hustle and bustle of the day's portraits begin. Its a great moment to focus on one another, pray and relax. I love Brian's expression when he sees Christine for the...

Bridal shows are a ton of fun. It's a fantastic time to see and connect with my favorite vendors and photography friends, but more importantly it's a time when I get to meet new brides and women planning weddings! This year in August, both A Southern Tradition and Tanarah Luxe Floral invited me to document their booth designs. These companies are run by amazing, talented, brilliant and kind women. I am always thrilled when asked to help them out and photograph their hard work - there is nothing more rewarding than working with creative people who are passionate about what they do. Here are a few of my favorite details from their booths! A Southern Tradition: Tanarah Luxe Floral: ...

Jess and Jenny Beth – Conway Wedding Photography at Hendrix

Conway Wedding Photography at Hendrix Jenny Beth was seriously the most calm bride I've ever worked with. When we arrived, we found her and her matron of honor relaxing and waiting. Happy as clams just enjoying the day and the quiet before the storm. After a few detail shots - don't you love her dress?? - we headed out for her First Look with Jess before we began portraits. She was just as calm and collected seeing her groom for the first time as she was in the dressing room. It was 105 degrees that day and the heat didn't seem to bother this couple at all. Like I said, the most calm bride I've ever had the pleasure of photographing! Here are a few of my favorite portraits, real moments and details from their Conway wedding at Hendrix! ...
