Some wedding days are bitter sweet and I am a tad sad. Holly and John’s Villa Marre Little Rock wedding was one of those days.

I become friends with all of my clients, but Holly and John have been extra special clients. When we met at the bridal fair last summer we clicked. In fact, we clicked so well that Holly canceled her plans to hire another photographer. We became fast friends and even ended their engagement session by sharing a glass of wine and chatting for a long time. I loved it. There’s nothing better than when clients really truly become friends. Holly and John are so fun, relaxed and real. I feel so privileged to have gotten to know them and share some of their most precious memories with them. But on their wedding day, I was a tad sad because I knew the fun (for now) was over. The wedding was beautiful and the vows were intimate and perfect. It has been an honor and a blast working with this dynamic duo…. I can’t wait for them to have beautiful babies so we can take more fabulous photographs together!

Here are a few of my favorite images from their wedding…. but be sure and stop by the blog again soon because I have more amazing portraits of this couple from their ‘day-after session’ coming soon!

I don’t normally post family portraits on the blog, but Holly and her Mom were so sweet that I had to share these.

Holly and John wanted to stay true to tradition and decided not to have a first look, but they wanted to be together for a few moments before the ceremony began so we found a way for the couple to have a few minutes together without actually seeing eachother.
