Bridal shows are a ton of fun. It's a fantastic time to see and connect with my favorite vendors and photography friends, but more importantly it's a time when I get to meet new brides and women planning weddings! This year in August, both A Southern Tradition and Tanarah Luxe Floral invited me to document their booth designs. These companies are run by amazing, talented, brilliant and kind women. I am always thrilled when asked to help them out and photograph their hard work - there is nothing more rewarding than working with creative people who are passionate about what they do. Here are a few of my favorite details from their booths!

I love the Arkansas Democrat Bridal Show. They do an awesome job of putting on a show that's super fun for the attendees - the show includes games, contests and a stellar fashion show. There are 200 vendors and more than 3,000 attendees, so it's a crazy event but everyone is super friendly and the day is just plain FUN. I like to bring my camera along with me so that I can snap some images of some of my wedding vendor friends' booths - they put so much work into the day that it's a shame for them not to have some images to look back on.
Here are a few shots of my booth and some of the awesome work that was on display:
Events, Rental & Floral in Conway did an awesome job with their blue and white themed booth, and I'm OBSESSED with the brooch and fabric bouquet they created. How could a girl not love all that bling??
A Perfect Bloom put together an ivory, green and chocolate color palette.
Young Designs had a super fun booth with my favorite colors - black, red and sparkle.
The Blue Cake Company outdid themselves with their cake designs.
They had samples on hand too, and...
I love bridal fairs. I love the build-up, I love the hustle-and-buslte of the day, I love seeing all of the vendors, I love meeting new brides, I even love all of the hard work that it takes to set up my booth! This Fall's bridal fair was especially fun because my husband and father-in-law helped me turn my vision for my booth into reality. After the past two shows I've done I wanted to take it up a notch and create something really fun, really bold and really beautiful. I think we did just that! What do you think??
The day went really well and our booth was buzzing all afternoon. The couch I rented from Trendstyle Events was the perfect addition to the space. It allowed for brides to sit, rest their feet, look through albums and talk with me about their wedding plans. The photographers from the Arkasnsas Democrat Gazette were busy taking photos all day long, and I love this arial shot they captured of my booth! Notice the bride and her mom enjoying the comfy couch?? Love!
Since I love bridal fairs so much, I'm giving away a $500 gift certificate to one lucky bride! I also...
The bridal fair yesterday was a really fantastic show and I think everyone who attended came away with new ideas for their weddings and hopefully checked some things off their lists of to-do's. So many of the vendors did an amazing job creating beautiful, creative and unique booths. I took loads of photos and will post those soon so you can see just how fabulous of a show it was!
We had hundreds of brides, bridesmaids and their friends stop by my booth to visit and sign-up for the contest. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and visited with me and my assistant, Rachel. It was a pleasure meeting you all and if you plan to be at the January fair, please come on by and visit with us again!
I'm excited to announce our bridal fair contest winners today on the blog! Drumroll please...
