Loved working on this month’s cover of Inviting Arkansas. DeAnn and her family are a true inspiration and I am so honored to have had the opportunity to have them in the studio. Super excited and very honored to have my work published in this season’s Southern Bride magazine – it’s such a huge honor! A big shout out to Tanarah Luxe Floral, Details Weddings and Events and Tracey Cakes for creating a gorgeous wedding setting for me to photograph!
I was recently voted runner-up to the amazingly talented Tim Ernst in Arkansas Times’ Best of the Best. It’s such a huge honor, not only because this award was a total surprise but because Tim Ernst is a huge part of Arkansas history and is uber talented. If you’ve ever seen a gorgeous panoramic image of nature in Arkansas, it was probably one of his shots. To see some of Tim’s work, you can stop by his website here. It is always an honor and just plain fun when my clients’ weddings get featured in print. Erin and Aaron’s Hot Springs wedding is featured in the newest issue of Arkansas Bride – this was a gorgeous fall wedding held on a family farm. The details were seasonal and the perfect blend of rustic and elegant. I adored Erin’s dress and her super sweet, laid-back personality were the icing on the cake for a perfect day. Here’s a screenshot of their feature and you can see the full issue here.
I’m so honored and excited that Hayley and Nick’s Charleston wedding was chosen to be featured on Borrowed and Blue. I just love this regional wedding blog dedicated to all things southern wedding. Here’s a sneak peek of their post, but you can see their full feature here!
Year after year my clients surprise me with the most beautiful and unique weddings. I love arriving at a reception and finding all of the pretty details my clients have spent so many months planning. Page and Brian’s Fayetteville wedding was totally unique and absolutely gorgeous. It was so gorgeous the editors at Arkansas Bride loved it and have featured it in print! Congrats to Page and Brian on the feature!!! To see the digital version of the magazine, click here.
Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of working with some of my favorite vendors on an amazing collaborative photoshoot. The idea behind the shoot was an equestrian inspired country wedding. The shoot took place at the Castle on Stagecoach, which could not have been a more perfect location. The rolling lawns, the picturesque stone mansion and warm light made for a gorgeous background. Tanarah Luxe Floral and Details, Weddings and Events worked together to create the florals, tablescape and details. Everything came together perfectly and I am so proud of how the shoot turned out. Working on projects, like this, that are creative is one of my favorite job perks. Spending time working with amazingly talented people and doing something that is purely for creating beautiful imagery is fuel for my soul. Here are a few of my favorite shots: The shoot has been featured on Every Last Detail, a fantastic blog dedicated to all things wedding. One of Holly’s bridal portraits in the underground at the historic Villa Marre was also selected to be featured in the ‘BEST PLACES’ for portraits in Arkansas section…. So fun!

So super excited and honored to have been selected as one of the Bride’s Choice Award winners from WeddingWire! The WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Awards ™ recognizes the top local wedding professionals from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the organization, the WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Awards™ are awarded solely based on the reviews from over 1.2 million newlyweds. This year’s recipients represent the top 5% of WeddingWire’s vendor community, across all service categories and all regions throughout the US and Canada. A HUGE thank you to my amazing clients for sharing their experience working with me on WeddingWire. Without all of the fabulous people I photograph, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I’m super grateful for having clients who are fun, friendly and just plain good people. Here’s to another year of amazing weddings and wonderful new friends!

The new edition of Arkansas Bride is out, and man is it gorgeous! It’s full of beautiful real Arkansas weddings, amazing editorial spreads and tons of ideas for couples planning their Arkansas weddings. I’m honored that two of my photos were chosen to be featured in this issue! Michelle and George’s cake was selected to be featured in the color ideas section and Lauren’s bridal portrait was selected as an Editor’s Favorite in the Photographer Favorite’s section. So. Much. Fun! Cabbage Rose also selected one of my images from Lauren and Craig’s wedding to be used as their ad for the issue, and I’ve also got an ad running!
Weddings in Arkansas recently launched their newly designed website and blog – it’s beautiful and chocked full of amazing ideas for Arkansas brides and grooms! One of the super fun things the editors at Weddings in Arkansas do is showcase photography from around the state. This week, they highlighted a few cakes from recent weddings, and Kaylee and Colt’s black and purple cake was chosen to be featured. How fun is that?!?
Jennifer and Micah’s January Little Rock Wedding was featured today on Arkansas Bride’s blog! Stop by and check out all of the yummy images the magazine editors chose to feature as an inspirational real wedding…
Brandee and Shawn have an adorable feature on the fabulous wedding blog, SouthernAisle!
I’m a big fan of the bridal fair that the Arkansas Democrat Gazette puts on several times a year all across the state. It’s an awesome opportunity for brides and newly engaged couples to get lots of great ideas for their weddings and meet many of the most fantastic vendors in the state. There is also a website that the paper sponsors , the Arkansas Bridal Community, where brides/grooms can register their wedding announcements, get more information on the bridal fairs, see photos of real weddings, find wedding ideas and get information on vendors. I was super excited to find out that they wanted to feature Brandee and Shawn’s September wedding! They did a great job of telling the story of this couple and showcasing some of their photos. Emily & Geoff’s North Little Rock wedding was featured this week on Arkansas Bride’s blog! Check it out here.
