Brandee’s Little Rock Bridal Portraits – Arkansas Wedding Photography

Brandee and Shawn were married this weekend, which means I get to share her beautiful bridal portraits with all of you! There were several things that made Brandee's bridal session fun, unique and memorable. First, Brandee is super sweet, easy going and up for anything to get the shot, which makes my job easy and fun. We were able to shoot on Brandee's neighbor's property, so we had gorgeous light and beautiful yellow wild flowers. The land also came with a pen of pretty unhappy bulls, so there were several moments when we were prepared to jump the fence to dodge an escaped bull. It was an exciting shoot to say the least! Lastly, Brandee is an animal lover and has two adorable dogs. We thought it would be great to include her two furry babies in her session and I'm glad we did - those images are some of my favorites! Here are some of my favorite images from Brandee's bridals. Enjoy!  Brandee and her furry babies Jersey and Butters. Love these dogs! Jersey is my new favorite best friend. He is the most gentle, sweet dog I have ever met! ...

Kara’s Bridal Portraits at the Harper-Alexander House

I met Kara and her mother at the Harper-Alexander House for her bridal portraits. I've never been to this location before and was curious how the house and it's surroundings would photograph. As you can see from Kara's portraits below, the location is amazing! We had the perfect light for some backlit photos and some fun, dreamy indoor shots in some of the upstairs rooms of the house. Here are a few of my favorite portraits below: ...

Lauren’s Marylake Bridal Portraits

Lauren and Craig were married June 18 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Little Rock. A few weeks ago, Lauren and I ventured to the beautiful Marylake Monestary for her bridal portraits. This was the perfect setting for the session and Lauren looked ah-mazing. The bride was stunning, the sky was blue, the weather warm and the grass green. What photographer could ask for more?? Here are a few of my favorite portraits:  ...

Lindsey’s Little Rock Bridal Portraits – Little Rock Wedding Photography

Lindsey had her heart set on the grounds at Hendrix for her bridal portraits, but the weather had other plans in store for us. With rain falling from the sky, we decided we needed to find some indoor locations. Fortunately, the Statehouse Convention Center and The Capitol Hotel had openings so we headed downtown to shoot. Even though the settings weren't what we planned for, I love, love, love the images we captured. Lindsey looks amazing and the light we were able to find indoors was so darn pretty! Here are a few of my favorite images from our session together. ...

Jamie’s Bryant Firehouse Bridals – Bryant Wedding Photography

Say hello to this beautiful bride, Jamie. She and her fiance, Michael, were married last Saturday in Little Rock. If you remember Jamie from her engagement session, you'll know that firetrucks are a trend in her and Michael's relationship and wedding photography. Michael is a firefighter in Bryant and he proposed to her while 100-feet in the air in the truck's ladder bucket during a "training exercise." Jamie decided it was her turn to surprise Michael with something firetruck related, so we shot her bridals at his firestation. The entire station was in on Jamie's surprise and helped her pull it off by getting Michael out of the station for the afternoon. I had a blast with Jamie on this shoot and was so excited to have such an unusual location for a bridal setting. Here are some of my favorite images from her session: ...

Jennifer’s Fayetteville Bridal Portraits – Arkansas Wedding Photography

I love wedding days! I love them because I get to have loads of fun shooting all day AND because it means I get to share some beautiful bridal portraits with all of you. Jennifer and Micah were married yesterday in Little Rock, so I have the pleasure of sharing her Fayetteville bridal portraits with you today. Jennifer was such a trooper for her shoot. It was Thanksgiving week so things were already a little rushed and stressful, but to add to that it was raining, windy and VERY cold. We shot her portraits at her parents' home in Fayetteville, so we were lucky to have the warmth of the indoors and the beauty of some beautiful land and sun (when it decided to pop out of the rain clouds). Jennifer seemed to have a great time despite the chilly, wet weather and I think it shows in her images. Here are some of my favorites from our session together: The image below is what Jennifer selected for her bridal portrait. It looks absolutely stunning on metallic paper! The following series of three images is my favorite from our session. I LOVE how happy and carefree Jennifer is, especially considering how cold...

Lacey’s Bridal Portraits – Little Rock Wedding Photography

Lacey and Spencer were married yesterday in Hot Springs. The ceremony and reception were beautiful, and I can't wait to share their wedding day images. Until then, here are some of Lacey's bridal portraits for your viewing pleasure. Like many of my brides, Lacey wanted to shoot downtown so that we had lots of setting options. We also made a quick venture to a building shell a mile or so from my house that is awesome for more modern and gritty images. Lacey was so happy with her photos she sent me an email thanking me for the many photos from our session. I love happy clients and I love getting to share their praise with you, so here's what she had to say: I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pictures!  You did such a wonderful job!  Some of them almost brought a tear to my eye just looking at them thinking about marrying my best friend!  My mother has seen them too, and she LOVES them as well.  It will be SO hard picking one for the wedding!  Thanks again for another wonderful job!  I just love them!!!!!!!!!!!! Here are some of my favorite images from my...

Nancy’s Little Rock Bridal Portraits – Arkansas Wedding Photography

Nancy and Jackson tied the knot yesterday, so I now have the awesome pleasure of sharing her bridal portraits. Nancy was so easy to work with and was up for anything I suggested.  We started our shoot in front of The Old State House Museum, a favorite spot of mine for a more traditional setting, and then wandered around downtown. I found a bridge and a very cool slanted wall that made for some killer shots. There were tons and tons of beautiful images, so I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites for this post. Leave a comment and let me know which one is your favorite! ...

Carrie’s Little Rock Bridal Portraits

Carrie and Levi are married, so now I can show you these amazing bridal portraits I've been itching to post for weeks now!  We shot Carrie's bridal portraits at various locations in downtown Little Rock. I love shooting downtown because there is such a great variety of backgrounds and settings to choose from. Some of my favorite images from this shoot were taken at the very end of our shoot when we had a few minutes of 'magic light' and we were waiting for Carrie's sister, Amy, to pull the car around. I love when a bride is happy to shoot whenever, wherever, however - it always makes for a fun shoot! We happened to cross the street right as a trolley made a stop. The conductor was so nice and invited us on board for some photos. I think the one below of Carrie might be my favorite of the session. She looks so happy and I love how vibrant the trolley colors are. There is something so glamorous about the photo below. Carrie looked absolutely beautiful! Ahhh...
