Sun, Surf and Sand – Pensacola Beach Vacation!

Pensacola Beach is my home away from home. My parents and I have been going to the same beach and staying in the same house for 25 years. For this trip, my husband and I headed down to the beach with his family in tow. I've never felt such a powerful appreciate for my Pensacola history and my memories until this trip. There was something magical about sharing "our" house with Andrew's family. We explored new things, visited our usual favorites (McGuire's Pub, the Boardwalk and Joe Patti's Seafood to name a few) and created some really fun memories playing on the beach and exploring in the water. We didn't do anything radical or out of the ordinary, but our time together was more special than ever for me and I can't remember the last vacation where I've had so much fun and felt so refreshed afterwards. Brandee and Shawn – 9-10-11 Little Rock Wedding

Brandee and Shawn were married on September 10th at Brandee's parents' home. This was one of the most enjoyable wedding photography experiences I've ever had, and it was all because of my amazing client and her amazing family and friends. Brandee is a seriously sweet, wonderful person and her mother, Jelaine, is my favorite mother of the bride to date - the Lumpkins are simply great people. After shooting this wedding, I told Jelaine that I felt like a member of their family. Not only did Brandee's family help put together the wedding, but her church family did too. Many of Jelaine's friends helped with the catering and the event set-up. It was the most put-together and warm group of non-wedding pros I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Being surrounded by so many loving friends and family made the day especially wonderful for everyone who attended the wedding. Brandee’s Little Rock Bridal Portraits – Arkansas Wedding Photography

Brandee and Shawn were married this weekend, which means I get to share her beautiful bridal portraits with all of you! There were several things that made Brandee's bridal session fun, unique and memorable. First, Brandee is super sweet, easy going and up for anything to get the shot, which makes my job easy and fun. We were able to shoot on Brandee's neighbor's property, so we had gorgeous light and beautiful yellow wild flowers. The land also came with a pen of pretty unhappy bulls, so there were several moments when we were prepared to jump the fence to dodge an escaped bull. It was an exciting shoot to say the least! Lastly, Brandee is an animal lover and has two adorable dogs. We thought it would be great to include her two furry babies in her session and I'm glad we did - those images are some of my favorites! Emma-Kate Turns Two!

The light of my life turned two this week. She is the most special person I've ever known and the love that I feel for her is inexplicable. Everyday with her is a gift and I'm so thankful to be her Mom. Arkansas Democrat Gazette Bridal Show

I love bridal fairs. I love the build-up, I love the hustle-and-buslte of the day, I love seeing all of the vendors, I love meeting new brides, I even love all of the hard work that it takes to set up my booth! This Fall's bridal fair was especially fun because my husband and father-in-law helped me turn my vision for my booth into reality. After the past two shows I've done I wanted to take it up a notch and create something really fun, really bold and really beautiful. I think we did just that! What do you think??   The day went really well and our booth was buzzing all afternoon. The couch I rented from Trendstyle Events was the perfect addition to the space. It allowed for brides to sit, rest their feet, look through albums and talk with me about their wedding plans. The photographers from the Arkasnsas Democrat Gazette were busy taking photos all day long, and I love this arial shot they captured of my booth! New Website and Blog Design!

I'm so excited to announce that my new website and blog design are both live! The website has a fresh, simple and elegant design that I just love. It's clean and does a great job of showing off my fabulous clients and their beautiful faces! The updates to the blog have been subtle, but I still swoon when I see them. Miami Heat – Little Rock Event Photography

Recently, I shot an amazingly beautiful and awesomely fun 40th birthday party. The fabulous Tanarah from Distinctive Designs by Tanarah and her team put together this Miami inspired event from start to finish. They did everything from conceptualize the event design to catering - Distinctive Designs is amazing at everything they do and this party was no exception. From a white red-carpet, to sophisticated lounge areas, fire dancers and an entertainment group brought all the way in from South Beach, this party was everything Miami and more!
