Kaylee and Colt grew up in Charleston, Arkansas and have known each other since childhood. Their love story began in high-school and after years of courtship, the two decided to buy a house together. To help ring in the celebration of their new home, Colt had a few surprises up his sleeve. He arranged for Kaylee to enjoy a day full of pampering, relaxation and gifts. After what seemed to be an unusually wonderful day for Kaylee, Colt surprised her again and popped the question!
The happy couple was married October 15th at the Eastside Baptist Church in Ft. Smith. Kaylee was calm and collected all day. When I arrived she was relaxed and even running ahead of schedule. That, my friends, is a true feat on a wedding day! The rest of the day unfolded just as gracefully as Kaylee expected. We even had a few minutes of light after their evening ceremony to capture some portraits of the bride and groom.
Doesn’t Kaylee make a stunning bride? Gorgeous, right?!?
Kaylee’s bridesmaids were SO MUCH FUN!! Each of these girls were super sweet and clearly wonderful friends to Kaylee.
Family and friends celebrated with Kaylee and Colt at the Hardscrabble Country club in Ft. Smith. Amy and Pam of Details, Weddings & Events did an amazing job of helping Kaylee turn her vision into reality. The day and evening were filled with beautiful shades of ivory, purple, green and black.
This group of wedding guests knew how to cut a rug. All night long couples were having a blast all over the dance floor. Several of the guys, including Colt, really impressed me with their mad dance skills.

Beautiful photos! Love the details, the bouquet, the cake: everything! My favorite shots were their portraits. Were you using a telephoto on any of them? Again, great job! 😀
Hey, Daniel! Thanks so much for your kind words! Most of the images were shot with a 50mm or 24mm, but I did use the 70-200 for the ceremony and portraits. Thanks again for your comments!
