I photographed Miranda and Ian's wedding about two and a half years ago. Since their wedding, Miranda and I have become friends and she's also become my second-shooter for weddings. Her full-time job is a NICU nurse at Arkansas Children's Hospital, but she loves photographing newborns and assisting me on wedding days. She and Ian are two peas in a pod and I was thrilled when she asked me to photograph their fall portraits in Conway. I love when I have the opportunity to photograph people I know. Years ago, I used to work with Elizabeth and her mother, Tina, at Aristotle. Baby James’ Little Rock Newborn Portraits

My friends Pamela and Jim had their baby boy, James, almost two weeks ago. Several weeks ago, we shot their maternity portraits, so I've been waiting anxiously for the text to let me know that their bundle of joy had arrived. This little boy has a very sweet and calm personality. While he wasn't thrilled about being out of his swaddle and diaper, he was a trooper and we captured some precious memories for this new family. Here are a few of my favorites from their newborn portrait session: Charlie, the dachshund, had to get the portrait love as well. He's adjusting well to his new brother and tried every chance he could to get in a few good licks. I love this moment between Pamela and her Mom.
