This set of images was commissioned by a very talented, kind and funny interior designer, Mara Malcom of Lamb's Interior Design, for her featured space in the Arkansas Symphony's Designer House. She wanted something different to include as part of the art for her design. She wanted something that would make people stop and think a minute, a modern portrait of her daughters. Mara has worked with me before for personal projects, so she knew that my team and I could bring her vision to life. As many of you know, I am expecting the arrival of baby girl Hubbell #2 in late September. After maternity leave, my studio calendar will open mid-November with a limited number of session dates available for the remainder of 2015 and early 2016. If you've been thinking of booking a shoot for a Christmas or Valentine's Day, now is the time! The cutoff for shoots with Christmas deadlines is December 8th and the cutoff for Valentine's boudoir bookings is January 21st. Some of my favorite shoots to photograph are maternity sessions. There is nothing more beautiful than a woman who is glowing with life. Being a mother myself, I know just how special  this time is for a woman. It's also a time when most of women don't feel like their usual selves. As the days on the calendar inch closer to the due date, our feet and ankles begin to swell, backs begin to ache and fatigue sets in. This is the perfect time for an expectant mommy to spend some time feeling pampered and beautiful. Recently, I had the pleasure of documenting Julie's pregnancy. As a beauty and fashion blogger (check out her fab blog iHeartHeels here!), Julie wanted to look amazing and on-trend for her portraits, so we teamed up with Face Your Day Studios for styling consultation, hair and makeup.
