It’s the tenth day of the new year and it has been an unbelievably beautiful day. Yesterday evening around 3 o’clock it began to flurry, and it snowed until the wee hours of the morning. Andrew and I put Emma-Kate to bed and snuck out of the house for a few minutes to soak up how beautiful our neighborhood looked blanketed in snow. Nothing makes me happier than a good snowfall, so I was grinning from ear to ear while we walked up and down our street. There were no cars, no people, no dogs – nothing but glittering flakes falling magically from the glowing sky. Here are a few shots I took from last night and this morning during one of our romps in the snow. The first image is of our view of the neighbor’s house from our bedroom – I LOVE big, picture windows!
