Brandee and Shawn’s Engagement Session

It was hot, hot, hot for Brandee and Shawn's engagement session, but they were troopers! We headed over to the Maumelle/NLR side of the Big Dam Bridge for their session. Even though it was literally 100+ degrees outside, this couple was excited to have their portraits taken. My favorite thing about these two? Their ability to make each other laugh, a real, honest to goodness laugh. So many of their photos are of Brandee with a big, beautiful smile on her face and I just love that. Jamie & Michael’s Little Rock Wedding

Jamie and Michael were married May 14th at Little Rock's First Baptist Church and celebrated at Park on the River in Maumelle. Jamie's favorite color is yellow, so the wedding colors were of course shades of bright, cheerful yellow and lime green. The day was full of laughter, happy tears, warm embraces and lots of love. My two favorite details of the day were Jamie's bouquet wrap and veil. Both were made from her mother's wedding dress; I adore when brides incorporate family history into their weddings! It was such a pleasure working with this couple and I love the images that I captured along with my assistant, Miranda.
