I have been photographing Laura almost every year since she and her husband were engaged. We started with boudoir, and then did some super fun and gorgeous anniversary portraits in the studio. She also happens to be my accountant and is a super fun girl! Over the years, we’ve chatted about doing some wedding portraits (unfortunately, she had a less than stellar experience with her wedding photographer) and a trash the dress session. Finding the perfect location became a challenge… she wanted water, but we also wanted to get some beautiful traditional shots as well. When my wedding coordinator extraordinaire friend Rachel Haynes told me about a new venue in Little Rock, Goodwin Manor, I knew we’d hit the jackpot!
Goodwin Manor is a breathtaking property in Ferndale, just on the edges of West Little Rock. It couldn’t have been a more perfect backdrop for this session! Here are some of my favorite images below:
