Kayla and Luke were married at OneChurch in Conway on St. Patrick’s day. The bride and groom were totally relaxed and the day was very calm. When my assistant and I arrived to begin photographing, we found that Kayla and the makeup artist were the only people there. She was glowing and totally happy with a quiet, peaceful morning on the day of her wedding. It was a little rainy and overcast, but that didn’t phase Kayla at all. She knew that I would be happy with the cloud cover since we were shooting portraits at high-noon, and I couldn’t have asked for a more awesome client at that moment! Luke and his groomsmen arrived an hour later and they, too, were just as calm and collected.

OneChurch in Conway has amazing natural light and distressed brick and stucco walls. It was the perfect location for Kayla and Luke’s wedding. Here are some of my favorite details, portraits and real moments from their day:

Doesn’t Kayla make a stunning bride?

After Luke’s portraits, we headed to the ceremony location for their first look. I knew the day was going to be totally chill when Kayla greeted Luke with a “What’s up?!?” as she walked down the aisle.

Since OneChurch is in downtown Conway, we opted to shoot their portraits in a nearby alleyway. I loved the cool, gray background with Kayla’s spring pink and green colors.

After the ceremony, we headed to Hendrix for the reception and a few more portraits.

Kayla and Luke’s reception was super sweet….

A few toasts before the bride and groom left for their honeymoon in Jamaica.
