She wanted to document the cutting of their wedding cake and take some portraits to document their first year. I love this idea!! Here are a few of my favorite shots from their gorgeous session. Stylized Equestrian Inspired Wedding – Arkansas Wedding Photographers

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of working with some of my favorite vendors on an amazing collaborative photoshoot. The idea behind the shoot was an equestrian inspired country wedding. The shoot took place at the Castle on Stagecoach, which could not have been a more perfect location. The rolling lawns, the picturesque stone mansion and warm light made for a gorgeous background. Tanarah Luxe Floral and Details, Weddings and Events worked together to create the florals, tablescape and details. Everything came together perfectly and I am so proud of how the shoot turned out. Working on projects, like this, that are creative is one of my favorite job perks. Spending time working with amazingly talented people and doing something that is purely for creating beautiful imagery is fuel for my soul. Here are a few of my favorite shots: The shoot has been featured on Every Last Detail, a fantastic blog dedicated to all things wedding. To see the full feature and many more images, stop by the Every Last Detail blog here!  ...

Allison and John – Wedding in Hope, Arkansas – Arkansas Wedding Photographers

Allison and John were married in Hope, Arkansas. The flowers were elegant and smelled amazing, the girls' hair and makeup was flawless, the lantern-lit ceremony was romantic and the bride was stunning. The day could not have been more perfect, except that it was also raining, all, day, long. The non-stop rain drops didn't get Allison's spirits down though, and with the help of my assistant and some borrowed umbrellas we were still able to capture some beautiful portraits and details from this classic ivory and black wedding. Here are a few of my favorites from the day: ...

Charleston Wedding Photographers – Hayley and Nick’s Citadel Wedding

Hayley and I met the summer between 5th and 6th grade at church camp. We instantly became best friends.  Hayley lived in Helena and I was from Fayetteville, so naturally we were devastated, as only pre-teen girls can be, when we had to part ways at the end of camp. When I showed up to the first day of 6th grade, I was shocked and so excited to see her sitting in my classroom. We spent the rest of our school days together, from 6th grade all the way through highschool. We lived together in college and joined the same sorority. After a year at the UofA, Hayley decided to follow her heart and move to Charleston to pursue a degree and career in the culinary arts. Hayley is one of those friends that no matter how long we are apart or how far away we live from eachother, it feels as tho nothing has changed when we're together. She has always been a very special person to me and I was so honored when she asked me to fly out to document her Charleston destination wedding. The wedding was beautiful and full of love and laughter. Hayley and Nick now live...

Fayetteville Wedding Photographers – Chelsea and Ty – Arkansas Wedding Photography

Chelsea and Ty were married at Central United Methodist in Fayetteville. The day was full of tradition, lots of love and many happy prayers for this adorable couple. Here are a few of my favorite details, real moments and portraits: Chelsea and her Dad had a Father-Daughter first look. He wanted the first time to see her in her dress be extra special and for the two of them to have a private moment together before walking her down the aisle. There were lots of happy tears, hugs and smiles. The couple celebrated their vows with family and friends at The Chancellor on the Fayetteville square. The details were gorgeous and everything was personalized - Chelsea's dad made wine for the favors, a custom monogram was their guestbook and they used Chelsea's parent's wedding topper on their cake. Nothing makes a reception more perfect than incorporating details that are special to the couple and their families. Those keylime pies were delish! ...
