[su_spacer size="10"] [/su_spacer]Marcy and Ryan were married at the Terry House in Little Rock. The day started with a constant downpour of rain, but by the time we began portraits the skies parted and the weather was perfect. The ceremony and reception were wonderfully intimate shared by family and friends who traveled far and wide to be with the couple, and everything was beautifully decorated with natural tones, candlelight, seasonal flowers and pops of green from fresh magnolia leaves.
To pay tribute to Ryan's Japanese heritage and as a surprise to his Grandmother, Ryan and Marcy included a traditional sake-sharing ceremony as part of their vows. It was a beautiful moment that made their ceremony that much more sentimental and personal. [su_spacer size="10"] [/su_spacer] ...
I have been photographing Laura almost every year since she and her husband were engaged. We started with boudoir, and then did some super fun and gorgeous anniversary portraits in the studio. She also happens to be my accountant and is a super fun girl! Over the years, we've chatted about doing some wedding portraits (unfortunately, she had a less than stellar experience with her wedding photographer) and a trash the dress session. Finding the perfect location became a challenge...
Lauren is the youngest of her siblings, three brothers. After the father-daughter and mother-son dances, she had a moment to dance with each of her brothers. It was such a sweet testament to her family and her bond with her big brothers.
Best bridal party surprise dance ever!!!

Helen and Craig's evening, candle lit ceremony and reception at Sassafras Springs Vineyard could not have been more perfect! Part 1 of their wedding is here! After the ceremony, we took some night portraits in the chapel ruins, but we wanted some sun-drenched images, too, so we met the morning-after for more portrait goodness. I simply adored photographing this couple. So in love and so natural in front of my lens! Swoooooon!
Helen and Craig were married at the beautiful Sassafrass Springs Vineyard in Springdale. The details and the ceremony could not have been more fitting. The decor was bright, colorful and absolutely gorgeous. The ceremony took place in the chapel ruins under the stars, lit only by candles and a few strands of italian twinkle lights, which was so touching because Helen's name means 'light'. This ceremony could not have been more perfect for one of the most romantic and head-over-heels-in-love couples I have ever photographed.
[su_spacer]Stay tuned tomorrow for Helen and Craig's day-after portrait session! [su_spacer]
A special thanks to Jennifer with KFB Events for putting together a seamless day and to my amazing second shooter, Erika, for all of her hard work and gorgeous shots!
