Read MoreEvery three years, my Dad's maternal family gathers. We're Italian, so there's always good food, good wine, lots of story telling and even more laughter. This group of people is so much fun to be around and I hate that three years pass between our visits. This year for our reunion, my aunt and uncle hosted us in Santa Fe. The weather was beyond perfect and the scenery breathtaking. We spent our first night in town at my aunt and uncle's beautiful adobe home. Here are a few of my favorite details from the gardens surrounding their house and a few fun memories of our time there, too! My aunt scored a teepee for the kiddos to play in. It was a huge hit! Here are a few of my favorite details from their day: Vendor love: Coordination and Event Design - Details, Weddings & Events, Ft. Smith Florals - Rose of Sharon, Fayetteville Cake - Shelby Lynn's, Fayetteville Dress and Accessories - She Said Yes, Rogers...

Read MoreEmma-Kate's first dance recital was this weekend. It was a big milestone for her and for me, her Mommy. Seeing her up on stage dancing like the true diva she is was hugely rewarding and emotional for me. I was surprised to find myself crying like a big baby by the end of the routine. For weeks and weeks, we've been going every Monday to dance class. Some days she would follow instructions, others she would do her own dance and then some classes she would just stand there doing nothing at all. To see her up on that big, bright stage doing her dance routine as perfectly as an almost-three-year old can was immensely rewarding, especially because she loved it and was proud of herself afterwards. I have never been more proud of her. Here's a snapshot I took of EK right before we went backstage: ...
