Villa Marre Little Rock Wedding – Holly and John

Some wedding days are bitter sweet and I am a tad sad. Holly and John's Villa Marre Little Rock wedding was one of those days. I become friends with all of my clients, but Holly and John have been extra special clients. When we met at the bridal fair last summer we clicked. In fact, we clicked so well that Holly canceled her plans to hire another photographer. We became fast friends and even ended their engagement session by sharing a glass of wine and chatting for a long time. I loved it. There's nothing better than when clients really truly become friends. Holly and John are so fun, relaxed and real. I feel so privileged to have gotten to know them and share some of their most precious memories with them. But on their wedding day, I was a tad sad because I knew the fun (for now) was over. The wedding was beautiful and the vows were intimate and perfect. It has been an honor and a blast working with this dynamic duo...

Searcy Wedding Photographer – Christine and Brian are Married!

Christine and Brian were married at the First United Methodist Church in Searcy. I loved documenting this couple's love story. Christine and Brian are relaxed, down to earth and fun, and they compliment eachother perfectly. The day of their wedding was beautiful, and chilly. Snow still covered much of the ground and the sky was crystal clear. Christine was calm and collected. Brian was a tad nervous. When they saw eachother for the first time, Brian's face lit up and you could see the nerves melt away. The details were elegant, the guests were teary-eyed and the reception was full of hugs, laughter and dancing. Here are a few of my favorite details, moments and portraits from Christine and Brian's wedding day: I love the feeling black and white gives getting ready images. Something about black and white gives the images a personal and intimate feel to them. Christine and Brian decided to have a first look. I love first looks. Its a super special moment the couple gets to share before the hustle and bustle of the day's portraits begin. Its a great moment to focus on one another, pray and relax. I love Brian's expression when he sees Christine for the...

It’s a Very Merry White Christmas!

We received the most awesome Christmas gift this year - over 10 inches of snow on Christmas night! Emma-Kate and Frank have played outside non-stop for two days straight and we've all shoveled, scooped and thrown our fair share of the white stuff. Here are a few photos from our Christmas in the snow: ...

Brittany and Daniel – Conway Wedding Photographers

Brittany and Daniel were married at the Greene Chapel at Hendrix and celebrated afterwards with family and friends at The Old Mill/Hole in the Wall Cafe. It was a beautiful, simple day full of gorgeous details, lots of love and even more laughter. Here are a few of my favorite moments, details and portraits from their wedding day: Brittany and Daniel decided to have their first look and portraits right before sunset. They both wrote letters to one another and read them before seeing eachother for the first time. It was a very sweet and emotional moment. Now for some photobooth fun! This couple was sweet enough to want a photobooth pic with me, too - so fun! ...

Baby Lillian is Here!

Last month, one of my dearest friends from college delivered the sweetest, most precious little girl. She is truly a beautiful baby and I could not be more thrilled for Sarah and her husband, John. I cannot wait to photograph this little princess as grows up! I am so excited to share this post - I had to wait since Sarah picked one of these images for their Holiday card. Here are a few of my favorites from her newborn session: Lillian arrived just in time for her to wear the most adorable christmas outfit ...

Fayetteville Wedding Photographers – Air Museum Engagement Portraits

Fayetteville Wedding Photographers - Page and Brian's Air Museum Engagement Portraits I am so super excited about photographing Page and Brian's wedding next year. Page and I were sorority sisters in college, so I was thrilled when she asked if I would photograph her wedding. Photographing friends is always wonderful - there is nothing better than having a personal connection with my clients! Since airplanes are a theme that run throughout Page and Brian's relationship, we decided to begin their session at the Fayetteville Air Museum and we ended their shoot on the Fayetteville Square. Here are a few of my favorite portraits from their session: ...

Little Rock Photographer – Mother Daughter Portraits

Little Rock Photographer, Meredith Melody's Mother Daughter Glamour Portraits Mother-Daughter glamour sessions are some of the most fun shoots I have the pleasure of working on. It's an honor to be part of a very special experience for a mother and her daughter. With all the craziness of life, sometimes it's hard to stop and enjoy some true one-on-one time, and these sessions are perfect for bonding and pampering. Kathleen and Mary spent the morning with me and we captured some beautiful photographs of them, which will now become part of their family history and an heirloom for generations to look back on. Here are a few of my favorite photographs from their shoot: We also had a little time to glam up the set for some solo shots of Kathleen. She looks amazing against this backdrop!! ...
