Motherhood. It’s the most amazing, life changing, whirlwind, joyous, non-stop role a woman can have. One of my favorite things about photographing mothers is that a photoshoot with me gives them a few hours of quiet. A small amount of time alone, focused on themselves. It’s a chance to relax, have fun and feel totally pampered. Capturing who you are today, as your kids see you, is one of the most precious gifts a mother can give herself and her children. Your kids love you just as you are, not 5 years younger or 10 pounds lighter. To them, you are the most beautiful woman alive.
The story of a mom is so special that I wanted to create something unique. Something to showcase just how beautiful moms are and how precious the time is when our little ones are young. So, recently, I filmed a shoot with my friend and client, Merry Klien. She’s a wife, a mother of two young boys and a business owner. My videographer, Nathan Willis, perfectly captured Merry’s photoshoot experience with me and her beautiful family.
